All clients are required to give at least 24 hours advanced notice when cancelling any appointment. A missed appointment is defined as any appointment for which a patient does not arrive as scheduled, (‘no show”) or is cancelled without a minimum of 24 hours notice (“late cancellation”).
No Show / Late Cancellations will be charged a fee:
Technician Appointment: $20
Veterinarian Appointment: $40
Patients with an outstanding balance of missed appointment fees will not be allowed to schedule another appointment until the balance is paid in full.
All proceeds collected from missed appointment fees will be donated to the Darla Fund, which has been a valuable resource in helping Wayland Animal Clinic provide medical and surgical care for strays and pets whose owners have fixed incomes or other financial limitations.
