What is the Darla Fund?

Every animal in our community deserves the care they need to live a healthy life, and the Darla Fund aims to make that possible. Thanks to the support of generous donors, the fund has been a valuable resource in helping Wayland Animal Clinic provide medical and surgical care for strays and pets whose owners have fixed incomes or other financial limitations.

Established in 2002 by the MacKenzie family in memory of their beloved 19-year-old dog, the heart of the Darla Fund is the warmhearted community of fellow animal-lovers who continues to support it.

How to Donate

Whether you want to contribute as a way to help our veterinary team and local animals, or in celebration of the life and memory of your own pet, all donations go directly towards helping those in need. You can drop by the clinic to donate in person or you can mail a check to 6 Winter St, Wayland, MA 01778, made payable to Wayland Animal Clinic Darla Fund.
